ABTC is a novel community-based approach to providing a home and a sense of belonging for approximately 50 residents who have experienced chronic homelessness in Waterloo Region.

We’re a broad cross-section of people creating a self-organized community built on respect for each other and where we live.
A Better Tent City gratefully acknowledges financial support from the Regional Municipality of Waterloo. This support is giving us newfound stability, which significantly helps our efforts to make life better for A Better Tent City residents and visitors.
